Samuel married Ann Bigland and they had

Samuel  1755 at Cawood

Samuel married Ann Smith 1776/7.

They had 3 sons

Edward baptised 16th January 1778

Smith baptised 17th June 1789

John Smith 1782-1848

 

Smith married Judith Jackson in 1820 at Northallerton

 

 

In 1841 they are living at Tickton Grange, which he bought in 1836 and sold in 1847.

In 1843 he is a Director of the Hull Banking Company.

Four years later he is recorded as living at Barton upon Humber, he is a landed proprietor and Magistrate for the county of Lincoln.

In 1857 Smith bought the manor and 200 acres, in 1871 he sold the 125 acre Manor Farm to John Barker, 30 acres and the Manor were sold in 1876 to John Dobby

Smith died in 1871, his wife Judith 3 years later.
