Was born at Whitby in the latter half of 1855, in 1861 she was living at Elvington, where she too, like her mother remained
until death in 1934.
She married William Trend Hamlyn von Beverhoudt in 1883.
Their only daughter
Rachel Hamlyn was born the following year.
Her husband was a surgeon and died in 1909 aged 67 years.

He was born in Plymouth c 1841, the son of Major Adam von Beverhoudt and his wife Augusta (nee Hamlyn)
Some time before 1865 he emigrated to Australia, where he was a shareholder in the Break O' Day Gold Mining Co.
He married an Irish woman, Mary Benson in 1865 at Ballarat.
they had a daughter called Louisa in 1866.
I have not been able to trace what happened to Mary but her daughter married John Edward Moore, a carpenter. They moved to Coolgardie in Western Australia and had a daughter, Nellie Dorothy in 1897.
