Sarah Anne was born c1817 in Elvington.

In the latter half of 1840 she married John Garwood.

John was 60 years old and she about 24

They lived at West Lexham, Norfolk, where John was a farmer.

Sarah was widowed in c1844, and in 1851 her parents are living with her and her 2 young sons.

She is recorded as being a landed proprietor

She married Starling day in 1860 at Norwich, he was 15 years older than him. Again she was widowed not long after her marriage.

In 1871 she is living with her son John Thomas and his family at Cullercoates, Northumberland.

She returned to Norfolk in 1881, she had a companion called Emma Mary Copeman.

Her son John is also there.

I can find no record of her other son after 1851.

Sarah moved to Tottenham, in a 2 roomed place. She died in the first quarter of 1901 aged 83 years
