Rose Ellen M Bigsby was the daughter of the Reverend Henry Julian Bigsby, Rector of Southborouh, Kent.
She was born in 1873 at Brighton.
The family had moved to Southborough by 1873, when her sister Grace Madeline was born.
Her mother Madeline Arbouin had died before 1885, as her father remarried on the 23rd July 1885 to Edith Wilson
