George was born on the 21st June 1873 in Aberdeen, the son of Edgar and Catherine (nee Ogg) Gauld.
His father was a builder & contractor.
He played cricket for Nottinghamshire
Died 16 June 1950 at The Park, Nottingham.
His son also called George Ogg was in practice with him from 1931, having qualified as a Doctor on the 4th November 1930.
