While so many changes have taken place among the School-masters, for upwards of 33 years Miss Marsar has been the Schoolmistress in the village; aided part off the time by her mother. At first Miss Marsar held her school where Mr C Dresser now lives, afterwards for many years in a cottage at the other end of the village, and latterly as School mistress in the village schools.
Miss Delagrange was the schoolmistress before the days of the present teacher; and Mrs Hall was a teacher of an older date.
